had a congenital thing and I believe its called UPJ. Which was I had a little crimp in my ureter and they tried to put in a stent to correct that and it didn’t work. She said its beyond my scope of being able to deal with it myself so she referred me to Dr. Miller and he said “well, we’ll just cut that out put it back together and fix it” And I had complete confidence that he could do that. First of all if you sit in his waiting room the conversations are about how he’s everybody’s hero, he’s got a big fan club. If you go to the hospital, if you go for testing, anybody body that you run into that knows him has only kind things to say about him. They always say “ Dr. Miller always has a smile on his face” And he just absolutely seems to be in good mood all the time and really gives a level of comfort to something that is frightening to most people, I’m sure. I know it was to me.

The recovery was amazing because of not having the huge incisions. The next, in 24 hours I felt a lot better. And in about three days, I think, I went back to work after about a week. Of course that could be my bad memory. But It was amazing. I instantly felt relief of pain that I had thought was maybe coming from a back problem that I just had been putting off getting checked out. And it wasn’t a back problem at all it was this cramped ureter. And as soon as I woke up from surgery that pain was gone. Even though I had the incision and discomfort that pain was gone.

Dr. Scott Miller is my hero because he saved my life and he has a gift from God that he uses so well to save other peoples lives. I consider him a personal friend and would recommend him to anyone, family, friends, anyone I care about.
